Category : Android

Droid X is finally here. This the lastest device offered my Motorola with the Android OS 2.1(google phone) OS with Motorola Application Platform. The original Droid change Verizon Wireless device lineup greatly. The Droid X tries to do it again. Droid X has a 4.3-inch WVGA display, 8 megapixel camera with fast mechanical shutter and 720p video capture. It has HDMI Output port that allows to the user to watch recorded video.

The Droid X has lots memory space, it offers 8GB of internal memory and 16GB micro SD card preinstalled. You’ll need that memory when you start to use the Android (Google phone) music player. This music player allows wireless download of music from the Amazon Music store. The user can listen to that wirelessly with bluetooth or with wired 3.5 headset. There is a Blockbuster apps that allows you to download and watch movies anywhere. This phone also has WiFi. It allows you to connect to your home WiFi, and the device also can broadcast WiFi signal and you can connect up to 5 additional device to the Droid X.

The Droid X does exchange email as well as imap and pop. You can also setup calendar on the device that syncs with Google calendar. It also has Google Maps built-in. Google maps is a great tool. It allows for turn by turn directions, street view, and live traffic.

The Droid X is an impressive device, it has 4.3 and it is a big device and it’s not for someone with small of hands. Droid X easy to hold for its large size and it doesn’t feel like much in the packet. This device does have some buttons: there are 4 buttons on the bottom and well as camera and power button.

Overall this is a great device with very easy to see screen that’s great for web viewing and movie watching.
